These capsule-like units are designed to be placed in public locations such as airports, in order to give the weary traveller a bit of peace and quiet whilst waiting for their flight. The Airpod features a seat that converts into a full-flat bed, free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, power sockets, luggage storage and information about flight status. According to the team behind the Airpod, they will begin trialling the product across European airports this autumn.
